According to the police a search was conducted at approximately 04:30 at a premises where 433 grams of crystal meth, two sachets of crack cocaine, 14 grams of Mandrax powder, four Mandrax tablets, 7 grams of ecstasy, a modified imitation firearm, and an undisclosed amount of cash were discovered. The drugs are estimated to be worth about R900 000.

A 51-year-old male and his 29-year-old girlfriend were arrested for possession and dealing in drugs as well as possession of a prohibited firearm.

An enquiry was opened at Manenberg SAPS for investigation.
