CRIME SCENE: Delft, Cape Town: A 35-year-old man was gunned down in a street on Thursday night, 2 July 2026.

According to a media liaison officer for the Western Cape police, Thembakazi Mpendukana, the man was shot in Tornado Circle, The Hague, Delft at about 19:50.

“Delft police arrived at the scene to find the body of a 35-year-old male victim who was shot and fatally wounded with multiple bullet wounds to his head. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder and no arrest has been made yet,” said Mpendukana.
