CRIME SCENE: Kuilsriver, Cape Town: A man has been shot and killed in Kalkfontein, Kuilsriver.

According to a media liaison officer for the Western Cape police, Constable Ndakhe Gwala, police attended to a complaint of a shooting on Friday, 26 June 2026, at about 21:40, in Qhude Street, Kalkfontein.

On arrival they found an adult male lying in the street with no sign of life. He sustained a gunshot wound and he was declared deceased by medical personnel on the scene. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation and no arrests have been made.
