UPDATE! Rashaad “Boontjie” Daniels has been charged with the murder Suraan Windvogel (31) from Kewtown. Daniels made his first appearance in the Athlone Magistrates Court on Monday, 29 June 2026. The case was postponed to Monday, 6 July 2026 and Daniels will stay behind bars.

UPDATE! A 60-year-old man is set to appear in court soon in connection with the murder of Suraan Windvogel, whose body was found in a refuse bag in Kewtown last week. According to the police the suspect was arrested on Friday, 26 June 2026.

CRIME SCENE: Athlone, Cape Town: A body of a woman was discovered in Kewtown, Athlone on Thursday morning, 23 June 2026.

According to Thembakazi Mpendukana of the Western Cape police media office, Athlone police discovered the decomposed body of an unknown female in a bag today at around 10:00 in Cross Boulevard, Kewtown.

“An inquest docket has been opened, and a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death,” said Mpendukana.

All over social media the deed was described as an evil deed and people wanted to known when all the killing in the country’s going to stop.
