Woman (76) nabbed for dagga
CRIME SCENE: Pofadder, Northern Cape: The South African Police Service (SAPS) have arrested a 75-year-old woman for dealing in dagga.

According to SAPS, members attached to the Namakwa District Task Team executed a tactical operation on, at approximately 08:00 on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 at a residence in Madeliefie Avenue, Pofadder after they received information about drug-dealing activities.
SAPS said its members proceeded to the identified premises, where they found a 76-year-old female occupant.
“A search conducted at the residence led to the seizure of suspected dagga, as well as cash believed to be the proceeds of illegal drug sales. The woman was arrested and appeared in the Pofadder Magistrate’s Court the same day,” said SAPS.
