CRIME SCENE: Walmer, Gqeberha: The South African Police Service (SAPS) have  established a dedicated investigation team following the discovery of four bodies with gunshot wounds. 

According to SAPS the bodies of four men, aged between 20 and 30 years, were discovered at G-West, Walmer, on Saturday, 12 September 2026, at about 20h30.

“The circumstances surrounding the incident form part of the ongoing investigation. In an effort to identify possible witnesses, police conducted enquiries in the surrounding areas, with no positive results. No arrest has been made,” said SAPS.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or who may have information that could assist the investigation to come forward. Anyone with information is urged to contact the investigating team leader of the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit (SVCU), Lieutenant Colonel Monde Sithole, on 082 457 2812, or the nearest police station, or alternatively call Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
